Spring in Texas, or is it Fall?

In September and October I was really missing Fall here. There were no crunchy leaves to step on, no brightly colored tress. Well spring has brought a new surprise to me. Here, all the leaves fall off the tress in March, and then they immediatly grow back. There is no hibernation. So we enjoyed a little fall mixed with spring. I need to start planting pumpkinsto harvest at the same time :)
