We had a little bit of fall in the beginning of December. The leaves finally fell from the trees so we were able to rake a small pile up in the yard and have fun jumping into and throwing the leaves. Ahhh, the joys of childhood!
It was so fun to be silly and just play with the boys. It made me realize how much more I need to do that. At dinner Joey could not stop talking about how much fun he had. This is what he said in his prayer that night: "Dear heavenly Father, thank you that we could spend time with Mom today and have fun playing in the leaves. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
It was a sweet reminder of what is really important!

That's so cute what Joey said in his prayer. I love little reminders like that. I have a picture on the wall of a little boy riding a wagon and below it it says "Success is knowing when to stop and play." It has taken on a whole new meaning since having my boys. Sometimes I have to remember just to stop and play!
