Joey and all the friends: Hailey Toleman, Madison and Ethan (in the back) Keifer, and Lauren and Mathew Anderson. It was really funny and cute because Joey seemed to develop a crush on Lauren right before we moved. He LOVED to play with Lauren and would follow her around. I even caught him putting his arm around her while they talked during dinner. He told me the next day that he liked lauren's pretty purple shirt--it was so sweet. At least I know he'll be a kind boy who notices details.
Joey and sweet Lily. Lily was a friend of mine who is single and so she became one of our many babysitters. Joey loves her and always requested her whenever he knew he was going to have a baby sitter. Lily also helped in Joey's sunbeam class.
My sweet friend Carmela Zargarnaga. Either she was born 35 years too early, or I was born 35 years too late, but we ended up being great friends. She is hilarious! And a butter addict. She would buy those ridiculously sweet krispy cream doughnuts and eat a pat of butter on each bite of doughnut--it makes me sick just thinking about it.
Things we loved about El Paso: the constant sunshine--I really needed an overdose of it after living in Buffalo; the wonderful, sweet people; our amazing ward (11th ward)--it really felt like family; getting to hike in the mountains and go up the mountain tram; brisket burritos and doughnuts from Vista Market on Zaragoza--yummmmmm! Seeing an actual Road Runner running across the road; Joey thought the tumbleweed was hilarious; Peter loved the great staff at Ocean Dental; The hummingbirds that came to our house; and mostly our amazing friends who were so welcoming and loving--we will miss you all a lot!
This video is of Kimball being so cute at silly. We were at the Keifers where Jasmine made us an amazingly delicious dinner, and Kimball was going crazy.

You're so beautiful Lindsay!!!
I agree, you are so beautiful! And it looks like you had some neat friends in El Paso. It's so fun to have older friends like that...I love her butter addiction! Yuck! :) I hope all is going well in San Antonio so far! I'm impressed you're already blogging!
What cute friends you had! That lady must be Ashley in the future - she used to always eat chunks of butter.
